Ozdere is a gentle touristic place with a good infrastructure and a mild climate during the whole year. There are a little less than 9000 inhabitants and around several high quality hotels. The village is very suitable for families with children, because there are excellent sandy beaches and enough peace and quiet.  Nice big mandarin plantations and a hinterland with forests and rough nature characterize this nice holiday resort that lies between Cesme and Kusadasi at the south-west of the metropolis Izmir, 35 min. from the airport. In the village,you will find a bank with pin-machine, post-office, medical services (doctor, dispensary, first aid), supermarkets where you can find all your need, various shops and plenty of restaurants and bars. In or near Ozdere you can walk, swim, snorkel and dive. There are many places where you can rent cars or scooters, so you can tour through the neighbourhood on your own. Besides this you can participate in many organized trips. There are excursions to all the areas worth seeing, among which Ephesus and Pamukkale. It is also possible to make boat trips to for example to the Greek Islands of Samos, and, Kos. You are only 35 minutes away from the port of Kusadasi, 25 minutes from the big water parks and 30 min. from the ruins of Ephesus.
